  1. Is it really made of sand?? That's incredible, I saw animals, figures like that made with sand in "La Manga" but it looks real, I like the photo!

  3. No, Vanesa, it is not made of sand, that was just me trying to be "original". I called the pic "Castle made of sand" after Jimmy Hendrix's song "Castles made of sand", don't really know why. Sorry, V... Here's a link to the song..

  10. Gorgeous photo and better title, it's perfect to describe how fragile even the castles turn out to be for nature.
By the way.. I don't want to be greasy but don't you think that our ""wonderful"" teacher deserves congratulations for this idea of photo contest???
    Seriously speaking
I think is being succesfully and funny.

  11. PedroJ, thanks for your complimment, but why is it in between inverted comas (I'm referring here to "wonderful"), were you trying to be ironic? hahaha. Well, if you really want to say thank you to me, here's both a very good grammatical point and a fantastic idea; (hope you get it)

    "The more J's, the better"

People from Lorca! I admire your courage and how you cope with the consequences of the earthquake. I´m from Totana but that fatal day I was in Lorca ´cos I used to have my English lessons on wednesdays.
This year I´ve had the opportunity of meeting new "Lorquinos" and meeting up with some old classmates, I´m proud of all of you and happy to see how you´re getting over.
I´d like to say that I´m glad of having a classmate called Marina who works in th Castle, I bet she´s doing her best.
David, apart from this beautiful photo, the song is very good, what a great guitarist Jimmy Hendrix is!
