Hi! guys. I took these photos (with my mobile phone, sorry about the quality) in a small village called Gorafe, which is situated near Guadix (GRANADA). I rented this cave-house and have good memories of that holidays. In this webpage you can see more Cave-Houses if you want to spent a few days in a very relaxing atmosphere: http://www.altipla.com/pataseca/
The reason that I´ve chosen these photos is because I find them very funny. As you can appreciate the detail of the plates that are used as skylight or fanlight (I mean "tragaluces"). The funny thing is that there´re two plates on the wall, one is placed outside and the other one inside the kitchen. That kind of plates remember me when I was a child and used to stay in my grandmother´s house some weekends, we used to have lunch in that kind of plates...ha! ha!
And even more...using this technology they recycle and also insulate the cave with a very cheap double glazing..isn´t it amazing?
