This poem invites reflection. Martin Niemöller sympathized with Hitler at the beginning of the Nazi´s Regime. But at least, he realized that he was following the wrong way and changed his mind, in consequence he was sent to a refugee camp. We´d say that he learnt his lesson. From my point of view, human being is prone to selfishness and sometimes it´s too late to redress. Hope we don´t make the same mistake of being egoists in that difficult economic climate we´re going through. “Once bitten, twice shy”. Thanks for the moral, Maria Del Mar.

I find this poem really interesting and it happens at the present time. For example, Capitalism and banks come for us...who is going to speak for us?
