I don't trust so much in that figure, it's an estimation done according to the birthing rate in the most populated countries of Asia, so she may not be the 7 billion number, but you know, media always have to find news to fill their newscasts.
I think those figures are too exagerated, taking into account the population won´t be always rising at the same rythm, because of the diseases or the effect of the control´s measures that some countries like China are taking. Also, it would be no way of managing the natural resources for everybody without running over them.
The spanish roots in The Philippines linger in the girl`s surname "Camacho". It`s nice that special things happend in countries with more difficulties in their development than others.
I only hope we don't get 200-student classes in some years' time, or thigs like that... (just joking)
